1956 TRIUMPH TR2 ORIGINAL UK CAR WITH OVERDRIVE

At TRGB Ltd we have a very well rounded TR2 for sale that has been much loved and well looked after in its time. It has a very good history file with a heritage certificate showing the original factory colour as British Racing Green with stone colour trim. It is nice to see an earlier car that still retains lots of original detail, including the original factory colour and trim colour. Very solid body shell and chassis; the paintwork is fair, which is reflected in the price! This is one of those cars which is not perfect but by no means a scruffy one! She has a certain charm and is easy to fall in love with when driven! I have driven many and I was impressed at how well she drove considering she still has drum brakes all round! Don't worry; they actually work well and pull up straight! Fully rebuild engine by Manvers Triumph in 2003, featuring an unleaded head, a rear main oil seal conversion, and a balanced crank. Recent work includes a top ball joint, new front brake drum wheel cylinders and propshaft UJs. It will come with either a current MOT or a fresh one at the point of sale.
