This TR6 has slight scope for improvement but has been driven very reliably by the same owner for the last 18 years. It had significant restoration work carried out in 1987-8, including 4 new outer wings, inner and outer sills and bulkhead end panels. Recent work included some minor MOT preparation, new top ball joints, crankshaft end float repair with new +0.005 thrust washers followed by an engine oil and filter change. The car comes with a heritage certificate confirming matching numbers. It retains many original details such as the seats, trim, dash, dash crash pads and factory steel wheels. The engine bay is good for the age of restoration, retaining 90% original details. It has been fitted with upgrades such as electronic ignition, an electric cooling fan kit, a stainless steel radiator cowl, and an alloy rocker cover. The chassis and underbody are fair/ solid, considering the body has never been removed from the chassis. Price reflects this aspect.
