Triumph Specialists
Full Range of TR2/3/4/5/6, Spitfire, GT6, Herald, and Vitesse Parts
TRGB's workshop has been going as long as the company, it all started with Richard Dempster helping Gary build the first workshop, sort of part-time help, as he was between jobs. That was in 1986 and he still works here! Prior to working for TRGB he had restored several cars at home, including a Spitfire, a GT6 and a TR6. He tends still to have some project or other on the go at home, and usually turns up to work in his bright yellow and blue TR5, a sort of "demon street racer". Richard's
expertise with Triumphs has developed over many years of "hands-on" experience, although his degree in mechanical engineering does come in handy now and again!
Tim "The Paint" has been panel beating and painting for about 25 years, but it may be longer as I'm sure he lies about his age! He painted Gary's TR5 about 15 years ago before coming to work at TRGB. Tim and Richards' combined knowledge on panel fit, and obtaining that elusive door gap to the correct size, is second to none. All major TR chassis work is carried out on our fully equipped jig, which we can repair or fully rebuild all TR2/3/4/5/6 chassis on. Customers can view the work in progress at any time.
TRGB's workshop will carry out ANY Triumph work - from a simple service to a full-blown "body off chassis" restoration to the highest standard. All TR engines are built in-house, something we seem to be getting an especially good reputation for. We can improve performance, road holding, handling and braking to suite your requirements and budget. We welcome stage payments on restoration work and give fully detailed estimates and Rebuild from the bottom up bills on all work carried out. Estimates are free, we will even travel to your home free of charge (within a 50 mile radius) on all major restoration estimates. We can arrange collection and delivery to anywhere in Europe, our labour rate at £45.00 per hour plus VAT is usually MUCH cheaper than most European countries.
All our work and parts are warranted, we aim to make cars as reliable as possible - after all, we love our Triumphs just as much as you do!
